Our New 2208 Multi-Spindle Rotary Cutter is designed for general purpose cutting of fields, crop residue, and light brush up to 2” in diameter. Cutting efficiency is increased by the 8’3” cutting width and 11 ¾” sideband height allowing a greater volume of material within the cutting chamber. Then, higher Blade Tip Speeds shred though tough vegetation for a clean cut of material with excellent distribution. The Pull-Type model comes equipped with an ASAE CAT 4 CV Driveline, Rubber Cushioned Axles, and 21” Laminated Tires. And with a Tongue Weight of only 880 lb., the 2208 Pull-Type is easier on tractor drawbars, effectively powered by tractors with only 35HP. An optional heavy-duty Hydraulic Cylinder allows for on-the-go cutting height adjustment, while an easy to adjust Tension Rod allows for leveling the cutter from front to back. The 2208 Lift-Type comes equipped as a Cat 1 & 2 Standard and Quick Hitch, ASAE CAT 4 Driveline, Twin Beam Axles, and 15 1/2“ Laminated Tires. At only 8’6” front to back, the 2208 Lift-Type is perfect for areas where a tighter turning radius is required. All models feature durable, rubber discs within the cross-shafts between gearboxes for dependable protection from unexpected shock loads. The 2208 carries on our tradition of making tough, dependable, performance-driven cutters, and is one more example of why “If it doesn’t say Bush Hog®, it just won’t cut it.”
